Camping at Alpine Canyon Yellow Post Site

A high clearance 4WD vehicle is required to get here due to the travel up the creek bed over rocks and soft sand. You could pull a small trailer up here, but anything longer than that is going to be too rough.

There is some degree of peace and quiet up here, but there is still a fair amount of traffic from other 4WD vehicles coming up here for joy driving. There is also foot traffic from hikers here.

There are no restroom facilities here, you will have to either bring a shovel and dig a hole, or have your own porta-potty, if your vehicle does not have its own toilet.
