Camping at Pine Camp Yellow Post Site
Most people who use this campsite are those hiking the Pacific Coast Trail. Even though it’s open to anyone, it’s perhaps best not to camp here for an extended time in deference to hikers looking forward to staying overnight here.
The road up here is bumpy and rocky, and not really advisable for trailers and motorhomes. It’s better suited for truck campers, rooftop tents, or vans. There are also places where the road gets narrow. Yet, it’s still a popular destination just because it sits up high and offers a great view of Mt. Baldy.
There are no restroom facilities here, you will have to either bring a shovel and dig a hole, or have your own porta-potty, if your vehicle does not have its own toilet.
