Camping at Pueblo Park Campground

Pueblo Park Campground is located in a large, cool stand of old growth Ponderosa pines adjacent to the northern edge of the Blue Range Wilderness boundary with Dangerous Park Trail #515 on the northern end of the campground, and the WS Mountain Trail #43 immediately south of the campground entrance.

The road in starts at US-180, about 11.6 miles south of Reserve, at the intersection with Pueblo Park Road (also known as Pueblo Creek Road, Forest Road 4042D, and County Road 013). Head west from this intersection for 6.1 miles, and you should see the sign for the campground.

The road conditions along Pueblo Park Road are curvy, but along firm packed gravel and dirt. Full-sized 40+ foot trailers can make these curves provided the driver has some experience. There is no turn-around until you get to the campground.

Once you get to the campground, the road continues over a creek bed, and becomes more rocky, bumpy, and the curves more tight.
