Camping at Skipout Campground
This is a well-maintained campground, picnic area, boat launch, and fishing area. The facilities are kept clean and in order, though toilet paper seems to be something lacking. It’s a popular destination for local fishing, swimming, and weekend campouts.
The two back-in RV sites are only big enough for small to medium-sized trailers and motorhomes. Any rig beyond 30 feet in length will probably run the risk of getting hit by passing vehicles.
The grass area tends to have a lot of stickers, so be prepared to pull them out of the dog’s paws, and make sure to brush them off before walking inside your RV.
