Camping at Berry Creek Dispersed Campground

Access to this campground runs along Forest Road 424, which is firm-packed gravel, suitable for any 2WD vehicle. However, there are few places where the road crosses over Berry Creek. During the spring runoff, these crossings are flooded out and high clearance, 4WD will be required. As long as its dry, RVs and trailers are fine.

Otherwise, Berry Creek Dispersed Campground is a popular place for fishing, mountain biking, backpack/day hiking, and horseback riding. The campground is located adjacent to High Schells Wilderness where numerous elk and deer can be spotted.

This campground is located 20 miles from the town of McGill, NV and about 32 miles from the City of Ely.
