Slide Creek Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. It has six (6) pull-through sites large enough for 25 foot trailers on hard-packed, level ground. There are no hookups, only a vault toilet, and horse corrals. It's primarily used for hikers and horseback riders wanting to explore Jarbidge Wilderness.

Camping at Slide Creek Campground

Slide Creek Campground is located in a remote area, though still reachable via 2WD vehicle. The closest town with amenities is Jarbidge (45 miles), but it requires traveling north into Idaho then circling around and driving south back into Nevada. The next closest town with amenities is Jackpot, NV, a 67 mile drive.

Otherwise, you’d only want to camp at Slide Creek Campground if your goal is to explore Jarbidge Wilderness. The campground is located just 50 feet away from Slide Creek Trailhead.

The campground is generally open from June to October as conditions allow.
