Mulebridge Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Klamath National Forest. It has four campsites on the North Fork of the Salmon River, and is located at the trailhead for the North Fork trail. There is no garbage service at this campground. There is a vault toilet, picnic tables, fire rings, and horse corrals.

Camping at Mulebridge Campground

Directions to Mulebridge Campground starts at the town of Etna, along CA-3. Take Sawyers Bar Road south for 19.5 miles to the intersection with Forest Road 41N37 (also known as Mule Bridge Road), and turn right. You’ll pass Idlewild Campground (a fee campground). Continue for another 2.3 miles and you should see the entrance for Mulebridge Campground and trail head on the left.

Campsites at Mulebridge are small, but some are suitable for small to medium-sized trailers.

The nearby town of Sawyers Bar (8 mile drive) has no amenities aside from a post office.
