Camping at Blue Heron River Access

Located along Klamath River Highway (CA-96) about 2.8 miles east of the town of Hamburg, this is a dispersed camping area and river access site. It’s generally wide, flat area with enough room to fit handful of full-sized RVs.

This is a popular place launching point for river rafters and kayakers.

The town of Hamburg offers no amenities. You’d have to drive further west to Seiad Valley to find the closest general store.
