Pilot Knob LTVA (Long Term Visitor Area) is a designated dispersed camping area operated by the Bureau of Land Management. During peak season, campers can stay for as long as seven (7) months (September 15, to April 15). Outside of that period, the normal 14-day maximum applies. Pilot Knob LTVA offers no amenities aside from trash dumpsters.
