Camping at Beaver Creek Campground

Best access to the campground is from CA-96 at the town of Klamath River, CA. Take Beaver Creek Road (Forest Road 48N01) north for 4.7 miles to the campground. The entire route is paved.

Only open from June to October, Beaver Creek Campground is perfect for folks camping with small vehicles and small trailers. It offers an idyllic camping experience with plenty of shade trees and the sound of rushing water from Beaver Creek.

At only 2,400 feet elevation, it’s not considered a respite from California’s hot summer heat, though this campground does offer good shade. However, this is also a rarely visited campground, hence you may find yourself able to run a generator during the day.
