Brown Springs Campground

There are eleven campsites at Browns Springs Campground, one of which is designated for handicapped. These sites are all on level, gravel pads, except for the handicapped site which is all paved. Each site comes with a covered picnic table, fire ring, cooking grill, and trash can. There is a vault toilet on site.

The campground is free, no reservations, first-com, first serve, up to 14 days.

The camping permit can be downloaded (see link below), then printed, filled out, and emailed to BLM_NM_FFO_GladeRun@blm.gov. You’re required to place the printed permit on your dashboard.

In our experience, this is a modern, well cared for, and clean campground. It’s often completely full on weekends, but there’s usually a few open sites during the week.
