Camping at Mills Rim Campground
Overall, a generally well-kept campground with clean facilities, and a vault toilet stocked with toilet paper. The road is firm packed dirt, and suitable for 2WD vehicles. There are some potholes coming in, but nothing you can’t steer around.
If you find this campground full, there are other spur roads that take you to the canyon rim where dispersed camping is allowed.
This area is also frequented by wildlife. Expect to see deer and pronghorn antelope. You’ll also hear coyotes howling at night. This is also a great area to ride your mountain bike with lot of dirt roads to ride along.
