Oyster Lake Park
Well out of the way from the nearest civilization, this little fishing spot is often used as a campsite by locals, but also doubles as a launch point for kayaks. If you’re not here for fishing, there’s little reason to travel out this far only to be surrounded by fishermen and attacked by mosquitoes.
Privacy is not to be had here because there’s little room to move around.
It is, however, a good place to watch birds, photograph wildlife, and gaze at the stars at night (as long as you bring mosquito repellent).
In our experience, if you’re just here to travel and live full time in your RV or van, Oyster Lake Park has little to offer.
