Persido Bar River Access is a free, dispersed camping offered by Klamath National Forest. It's located along CA-96, about 20 miles north of Orleans, CA. It's a large sandy beach along the Klamath River with plenty of room for 5 to 10 full-sized RVs, and some room for additional cars. Restrooms are provided, but no trash or potable water.

Camping at Persido Bar River Access

Persido Bar (sometimes incorrectly called Persidio Bar) is a high-use, popular take-out for river floaters. There is a graded gravel road to the large cobble bar and a flat road to the water’s edge. There is a permanent restroom and ample parking.

Note: This campsite is located in the Ukonom Ranger District which is officially a part of Klamath National Forest, but is adminstered by Six Rivers National Forest under their rules and policies.
