Camping at Trachyte Point

If you are looking for a place where you are unlikely to seen anyone else, this is it. The south rim above Hog Canyon makes for awesome views.
This sandy road, while solid smooth can be unpredictable because of recent rains potentially washing out low spots. 4WD recommended but not needed in good conditions. Views here are stunning.

Trachyte Point is accessed from Trachyte Point Road. This road is unmarked from Utah State Highway 276, and is located about 3.6 miles south of the intersection with Utah State Highway 95.
