Upper Virginia Creek Primitive Campground, Lee Vining, CA
Upper Virginia Creek Primitive Campground is a free, developed campground operated by Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. It's smaller than its sister campground at Lower Virginia Creek (see nearby campsites below), but closer to the village of Virginia Lakes. The campground offers fire rings, vault toilet, and bear proof storage boxes.

The campground is located along Lower 139 Campground Rd (also known as Forest Road 32139).

Located along Desert Creek Rd (NF-027 on Google Map), the campground sits about 14 miles south of the town of Wellington.
