Deer Mountain / Chuck Best Snowmobile Park, Weed, CA
Deer Mountain / Chuck Best Snowmobile Park is a free, campground and snowmobile park offered by Klamath National Forest. With eight campsites and five picnic sites for summer use, complete with picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets, it offers a fully paved, level camping option for RVs of any size.

Medicine Lodge City Park offers a small campground for RVs, vehicles, and tents, that come with free accommodations, free 50/30/15 amp electrical hookups, and free potable water. Campsites are located behind the ballpark backstop next to the restroom building. There are four-to-five sites.
Grandview Campground, Bishop, CA
Grandview Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Inyo National Forest. The campground has 23 sites spaced on two loop roads. Most sites are flat and sandy with ample shade. Each site has a table, fire ring, and parking for one or two vehicles. Some of the sites are large, capable of accommodating full-sized RVs.
Kennedy Meadows Campground, Kennedy Meadows, CA
Kennedy Meadows Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Inyo National Forest. Located on the Pacific Crest Trail near the South Fork of the Kern River, this campground is surrounded by the South Sierra, Golden Trout, and Domeland wildernesses. Some of the 37 sites are shaded by juniper and pinion. It has space for small to medium-sized trailers, no longer than 30 feet.

Hartley Springs Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Inyo National Forest. Located between June Mountain and Obsidian Dome, at an Elevation of 8400 feet, this campground has 25 campsites surrounded by pine forest with nearby access to the tributaries of the headwaters of Owens River.
Glass Creek Campground, Mammoth Lakes, CA
Glass Creek Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Inyo National Forest. It's a large campground, with 66 sites, with most sites large enough for full-sized fifth-wheel trailers and motorhomes. Campsites are close together, creating the feel of an RV park. Even though it's free to camp here, you are still required to self-register when arriving.
Deadman Campground, Upper & Lower, Mammoth Lakes, CA
Deadman Campground, Upper & Lower, are free, developed campgrounds offered by Inyo National Forest. With 20 campsites between the two, these campgrounds are located adjacent to each other, separated by Deadman Creek. The campground is not suitable for RV camping. Tent or car camping only. Vault toilets and picnic tables are available, but only a limited number of bear-proof storage cabinets.
Big Springs Campground, Mammoth Lakes, CA
Big Springs Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Inyo National Forest. Located between Mammoth Lakes and June Lake, near the Crestview area, this campground has 26 campsites surrounded by pine forest. This is a popular base camp for fishing Deadman Creek, exploring Obsidian Dome and OHV/ATV trails in the Lookout Mountain area.
Wolf Creek Dispersed Campground, Markleeville, CA
Wolf Creek Dispersed Campground is a free, boondocking area offered by Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. It's only amenities are a set of vault toilets, otherwise you're on your own with trash, tables, or campfire. There's enough room here for five to six campers, including small to medium-sized trailers.
San Juan Campground, Austin, NV
San Juan Campground is a free, dispersed camping area offered by Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. It's intended for small 4WD vehicles, like jeeps, vans, and pickup trucks. Small trailers can get in there, but nothing over 16 feet, and you'll want high clearance. There are picnic tables, but no fire rings, vault toilets, or trash cans.
