Bootjack Dispersed Area is a small piece of land managed by Idaho Department of Fish and Game located along the banks of Henrys Fork, sandwiched between US-20 and Bootjack Drive, just north of Island Park, ID. This is not a designated campground nor fishing or wildlife area, it's just land owned by the Department and available for public recreation.

Portneuf Lower Campground, Lava Hot Springs, ID Portneuf Lower is probably is the best kept secret with respect to free camping in Lava Hot Springs. Well, at least it was. While RV parks in town cost as much as $100.00 a night, and still get sold out during weekends in Summer, Portneuf Lower often has several places where RVers can boondock, and only be two miles away from town.
