Red Bank Campground, Forks of Salmon, CA

Red Bank Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Klamath National Forest. With five (5) campsites, it's small, and the sites are also small, suitable only for cars, vans, and pickup truck campers. Small trailers under 20 feet may be okay. Picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilet are on site.

Mulebridge Campground, Etna, CA

Mulebridge Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Klamath National Forest. It has four campsites on the North Fork of the Salmon River, and is located at the trailhead for the North Fork trail. There is no garbage service at this campground.

Hotelling Campground, Forks of Salmon, CA

Hotelling Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Klamath National Forest. It has four campsites right on the South Fork of the Salmon River. Picnic tables, fire rings, and a vault toilet are on site. There is no trash can on site. Any water must be drawn from the river and filtered.

East Fork Campground, Forks of Salmon, CA

Camping at East Fork Campground Access to East Fork Campground is paved all the way from the town of Callahan on CA-3 to the campground along Cecilville Rd. The campground itself is small, suitable only for single vehicles, vans, and pickup truck campers. Small trailers no more than 16-18 feet in length. The town of Cecilville, just 2.3 miles to the west, actually has a fuel station and saloon. The town of Forks of Salmon, another 20 miles to the west, is larger, but still offers no amenities. Big Flat Campground, Weaverville, CA

Big Flat Campground is a free, developed campground offered by Klamath National Forest. There are nine campsites, with picnic tables and vault toilet. The campground is a base camp to many trails in the Trinity Alps Wilderness, including the Caribou Lakes.
