Boondocking in South Dakota!
Boondocking in South Dakota is fairly plentiful with Black Hills National Forest, three national grasslands, Badlands National Monument, and several free camping areas operated by the Army Corps of Engineers. There is also some BLM lands in the western-half of the state. You can also find free camping at the state’s wildlife management areas.
