Boondocking in Vermont!

Boondocking in Vermont is limited mostly to Green Mountain National Forest in the southern part of the state. Otherwise, there are no BLM lands to rely on. While the Army Corps of Engineers does operate several reservoirs, only one has a campground and it’s not free. The state does offer camping on its wildlife management areas.
